Background
Speedball 2 was a computer game I played and loved in the early 90's. The game was pretty heavily influenced by the cult 1970's film Rollerball. Mixing a cyberpunk theme with a combination of handball and ice hockey that replaced skating around an oval track. The game was created by the Bitmpap Brothers, was hugely playable, great characters, team names and an instantly quotable and fitting soundtrack.

Solution
I decided to set myself the brief of creating club crests for all sixteen teams featured in the game. Taking a nod from Rollerball and the insinuation that a sinister corporation effectively runs the sport, I ensured all crests were relevant to each team. Although also ensuring they worked as part of a greater 'Speedball family'. A bit like franchises in the U.S.A.'s MLS.
